Good evening Krystal Comets: This is Mr. Kirk with some information about the last week of school. There is school tomorrow, even though that was a planned snow day. Make sure your child is here, please. There is no school on Monday, because of Memorial Day. Tuesday evening at 6:30 is our annual Title 1 meeting, to learn more about Krystal. The last day of school is next Thursday.
I hope this information helps you prepare and plan.
Thank you, and have a great night.
If you are in grades 3-6, and are interested in writing poetry, you should take a look at entering this competition. The flyer has been posted above.

News & Announcements
2013/2014 Teacher requests are no longer available.
You will find our 2012/2013 parent/student handbook in the "Principal's Page" section.
We have posted SARB information. This information gives parents details on excused and unexcused absences, tardies, and financial penalties associated with poor student attendance. It is on the left-hand side of the page.
Please do not park in the handicapped parking spots unless you have the correct permit. Please save these spots for our handicapped guests. Thank you.
If you have any new blank CD-R's, new blank DVD-R's, science, new AA batteries, or book donations, please save them and drop them off at Krystal. Also, make sure to save used Caprisuns and "boxtops" for fundraising purposes. Classes are also collecting the soda can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House charity. You may bring these to Krystal, as well.
There is some exciting news from Scholastic book orders. Please click on the link to see how you can get a free book for your child's class.
We love animals, but for the safety of our students, we need all pets kept off of school grounds. This includes drop-off and pick-up times, as well. Thank you for understanding.
Open enrollment for the 2013/2014 school year has ended. We had our lottery, and created our call back list. We have no more openings for enrollment, at this time. Next year's open enrollment time will take place in the spring.
New Safety Concern Policy
Due to recent safety concerns, we will be implementing the following policies for all parents, beginning on Tuesday, February 12:
Parents will be allowed in the hallways and classrooms after 9:30 a.m. If you have a pre-arranged meeting with the teacher, you need to inform the office.
This means that before school and during lunch, to increase student safety, only students and school personnel are allowed in the cafeteria.
Thank you for understanding.
Would you please donate one of the following books to our library?
